Good firewall appliance

I am in search of a good firewall appliance.  I currently use clarkconnect 3.0.  I am going to try out clarkconnect 3.2.  I really like that distro but would like to have a more general distro if possible.  I use the box to backup my other boxes on the network.  It is my main web server.  I run asterisk on it also.  If you have any recommendations let me know and I will give it a try.
