Was able to finally wash the jeep. Cleaned inside and out. My rubber floor mats have been working great. Found a hole in the drivers side mat. It was totally soaked underneath it. So now I am going to have to let it dry out. Will try to epoxy it tomorrow so it will not leak anymore. Changed the oil in the mower also. Will run it the first time with the original plug and then change the plug and air filter.
Stayed up late last night
Stayed up until about 12:30am putting mud up on all the walls. Will try to finish the ceiling tomorrow. Feels good to be finishing this room. So far everything seems to be going fine. Hopefully I will not hit any big problems.

What to do this weekend
So what should I be doing this weekend. Think I will work on the yard a bit more. Might even mow a little bit to clean it up. MIght finish hooking up the sprinkler system to the main water line for the house. Will probably mud the room. See if I can get the first coat on the office. Will plan on cleaning the jeep inside and out. That should keep me pretty busy.

One more piece to go
Just have one piece of drywall left. Just didn’t have it in me last night to put up the last piece. Hopefully tonight I can get the last one up and maybe even start mudding. On the next room I do I will put the ceiling up first. I think it will be easier and a bit better to do it that way.

Finally took a few pictures of the cable corner of my basement
Still needs a lot of work but here is what I have been working on as far as cabling in the basement and a few lines to the upstairs. I also have started to build the rack to put my servers into. Should be all in place in the next few months.

Got a little bit more finished on office area
Didn’t get as much accomplished as I wanted to but what we did get finished does look good. I have found that drywalling does take a bit more time than I thought it would. Those 5/8th inch sheets are a bunch heavier than the 1/2 inch sheets. The dremel came in very handy when it came to cutting the holes out for the can lights. Made the job very easy. A bit dusty but man it makes a very nice hole around the can light. This week I hope to get mudding again in that room. Want to try to get the first coat on the whole room this week. I think it is very doable. Just have to set aside at least 2 nights to work on it for at least an hour maybe two hours. I also want to get the ibeam in the main room all trimmed out. I put up the 2×6 pieces yesterday, now I just have to fur out the rest of the beam. I then have to build up around the metal pole in the middle of the room also. I plan to put 2 2×6’s around the pole and then attach it to the cement floor. I think it will look fine when finished. One of my 2×6’s is a bit warped so I am trying to get it straightened out just a bit. I will reclamp it again tonight to warp it back into being almost straight hopefully. The only think I have going for me right now with it is I can pretty much build the pole cover on the ground and then put it up and put the last piece in at the last minute so I should be able to get all of the bow out of it without a problem. Worked on some shelves for Shawn also. Ended up burning up my old router that my grampa gave to me. Think it was just getting old. It was always pretty noisy but man it really got noisy yesterday. Actually blew out two pieces of the motor while using it. Oh well will go get another one soon. Next time I see one on sale at sears or homedepot I will pick on up.

Leaky valve in the backyard
Well had a friend over to help with the basement and the leak in the backyard. We fixed the part I could not get fixed last weekend. But we caused another leak. Not as bad but still a small leak. So we gave up. He said when it gets warmer it will be easier. He used to install sprinkler systems back in college. He makes it look so easy to work on.

It is good to be driving the jeep again
Well have drive the jeep about 50 miles since I picked it up last night and it is running great. Small things you know, that glovebox is nice to use again. Tried the emergency brake and I think the thing never worked right since I bought it used. It would work in that it stopped the cars movement but I think it was broken in that the lever never moved more than an inch or two, now it pulls up almost 5 or 6 inches and a brake light comes on on the dash. Never knew that was there. Just glad to be driving it again.

Looks like the jeep will be fixed and ready to pick up this evening
Everything checked out fine as far as the drivetrain goes. Glovebox is ready also. The squeakiness and noise I heard over the weekend they think was the emergency brake falling to pieces. They said when they took the rotor off, the brake pads and everything else just fell out. They would have made the noise I was hearing and the wheel heat up. And all of this fixed for less than 500. Probably should have them change out the emergency brake on the other side at the same time, but I did not.
